Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County will be hosting an all-day workshop on March 27th, 2018 for our local dairy farmers to assist and support their farm business planning during this uncertain and challenging time. Our guest speakers, David Balbian, Regional Dairy Specialist of Cornell Cooperative Extension CNY Diary, Livestock & Field Crops Team, Anna Richards, Cornell University’s Pro Dairy Farm Business Specialist and Daniel Welch, Business and Succession Planning Coordinator for NY FarmNet will provide key information and support for the events attendees. Specialists from NY Farm Net will also be present to share information on free and confidential services they provide in a variety of areas including farm business management, financial assistance, stress management and prevention.
The workshop will be located at CCE Madison County’s Agriculture Center on 100 Eaton Street, Morrisville, New York. The event will start at 10:45 and will be completed by 3:30 pm. The workshop is free for all Madison County farmers and lunch will be provided.
Pre-registration is required.
Free for our local dairy farmers. $20 for other community members and $10 for students with ID.
